Holly Tienken

Holly Tienken brings over 20 years working in the field of graphic design and art direction. She received her BFA in Communications Design at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts. She worked at Bloomberg L.P. in New York and during her time she helped set the design standard for corporate communication materials. After leaving Bloomberg, Holly became the Art Director at Frederick and Froberg Design in Montclair, New Jersey working on entertainment /sports licensing and branding, and then at MARKZEFF in New York. In 2006 she founded Design Grace which focuses on print design and branding. Clients include Warner Brother Records, ABSOLUT Vodka, Campari, Foreign Policy, and Mack-Cali. In 2007 she co-founded Bag the Habit, a line of reusable shopping solutions made from 100% eco-textiles and has partnered with brands such as Martha Stewart, The OWN Network, Tom’s of Maine, New York City Parks Department, Pangea Organics, and Guess. In 2012 Bag the Habit started an interactive, educational program WE CREATE THE FUTURE designed to teach positive new habits to students and inspire their ability to create the future.

In 2015 Holly started teaching full time at Kutztown University. Previously she was an adjunct instructor at Kutztown University and Lehigh University.
